It was a chilly day outside today, though the sun was high in the sky and there were no clouds or rain. It reminded Nadette of her home in Drachma, where the weather would be similar to what it was today- though in Drachma, there would be several inches or even feet of snow on the ground, depending on where you were. In Drachma, though the sun might be out and the sky clear, the temperature would be cold. The sun was rarely effective in many places of Drachma, and there would rarely be any particularly warm days when any amount of snow would melt.
The thoughts of her own country made Nadette smile to herself- she couldn't wait until Amestris was under its rule. Until then, she'd just have to stay undercover as she was. It wasn't like anyone would find out about her real intentions- she was just too cute to let that happen, and would take full advantage of it.
Wearing a thin, cotton, pink dress with a white cardigan, white knee socks, and white lace-up boots, Nadette practically screamed 'innocence' and 'adorable'. Her boots made a tapping noise on the stone steps of the library when she ran up them, and the tapping noise became echoey when she entered the library at last. Once entering the library, Naddy slowed to a walk out of respect for the place, as most respectful children would do as much. She then put on her best confused and wondering expression and walked around with no clear aim as to where she was going, weaving around the shelves looking for a certain book, though she knew very well that it wasn't in this section at all. |
