GENERAL DESCRIPTION|| Alphonse has a stockier build than his older brother Edward, as a result he appears much more solid than Ed. Alphonse keeps his hair cut short and his shade of blonde is darker than Edward's. He's of average height for a young man.

His face is much gentler than Edward's and it's a little bit rounder as well. His eyes are a darker shade of gold than Edward's and they're also rounder than he's older brother's.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES||
Al's eyes stand out the most about him. From his rather average height and weight, it's Alphonse's eyes that people remember the most about him.

LIKES||
•Cats. Alphonse always has and always will, have a soft spot for felines. Especially kittens. The more lonely and pathetic, the harder it is for him to resist.
•Apple pie. Winry's apple pie is his favorite of all.
•Stew. Meat stew, vegetable stew, any sort of stew.
•Milk. It helps you grow and it's good for your bones. What's not to like?
•To study. Yes, Alphonse actually likes to study and learn about anything and everything he can.
DISLIKES||
•Injustice. Whether it's seeing someone beat a dog, or something more extreme, like what happened to Nina Tucker, Alphonse cannot stand unjust behavior.
•When Edward makes him worry. Which with Ed's personality.....happens a lot.
•The idea of losing his brother. If he lost Edward, Al wouldn't know what to do with himself.
•Ignorance. Whether it's in himself, or others.
•Seeing Mai put herself in danger for his sake.
GENERAL PERSONALITY|| Alphonse is a quiet, reserved sort of person. He prefers to try and work out his problems by talking, or by logic over fighting. He will though if he has to. Alphonse isn't easily angered, he tends to take everything in stride and just laugh things off. He takes pleasure in the little things and makes it a point to never take even the simplest things for granted.

If Alphonse has no choice, or if he's pushed over the edge, he will fight. He's a very skilled and resourceful fighter. He learned from the best and uses his environment to his fullest advantage. He worries about everyone else first and himself last. He is a bit of a worrywart when it comes to the people he cares about and can be insistent when he wants to get someone to do something.

Al doesn't back down from a fight very easily, and when he stands up for something he believes in, he does it firmly and confidently. He's only a young man, but he's seen quite a lot in his short life, and he takes those experiences and learns from them.

HISTORY|| Alphonse's father left when Al was only a child, his strongest memory of the man before meeting him again years later, is of his back as he walked out the door. Alphonse was a mama's boy. Always trying his hardest to impress Trisha, and to make her smile. When he wasn't doing that, he was constantly dogging his older brother about drinking his milk and following after him like a lost puppy. Al looked up to Edward and yet, he always looked out for him.

He turned to alchemy, craving his mother's approval and the mental challenge the study brought. Alphonse wasn't as skilled as Edward was, but that never stopped him from trying. He always tried to beat or match his brother's alchemy. When their mother fell ill and died, Alphonse and Edward decided together that they needed to learn more about alchemy and so, they fell under the tutelage of Izumi Curtis, a very skilled (and frightening) alchemist. She taught them everything they needed to learn.

Al and Ed's next move was to perform the taboo, which was human alchemy in a desperate attempt at bringing their mother back to life. Alphonse and Edward payed dearly for their crime. Alphonse lost his entire body and Ed lost his right leg. When Al came to, he was in a suit of armor that could do nothing more than move, think and speak.

Ed and Al got back on their feet, (so to speak) and began their quest for the legendary Philosopher's Stone, which was said to be able to do anything. Their journey was long and painful, both physically (for Edward) and emotionally. Alphonse compiled a list of things he wanted to eat when he got his body back, maintaining a sunny outlook on life, even when he had every right to lie down and never move again.

After so long, Alphonse was able to return to his weakened, malnourished body. Al returned to his hometown, but only long enough to get strong again and help around the house, repairing much needed things and eating all the apple pie and stew Winry could cook for him.

Since then, Alphonse has been traveling, trying to figure out a new way to perform alchemy.

Ah. The boy was here. It had taken a month for Edward Cullen to figure out where his precious Bella was and only moments for him to get to Voltera. Aro knew for a fact that the bleeding heart vampire couldn't resist the call of his loved one. She was his blood singer, he'd follow her to the ends of the earth and beyond. He'd sell his soul to the devil himself to keep Bella safe. He'd throw his life away in exchange for Bella's. Edward was like a book someone had read many many times. He knew exactly what would happen next.

Aro sat in his throne, Bella by his side, his free hand rested gently on her shoulder, his other clutched a glass of human blood. He heard word of Edward's arrival and was waiting for the fool to step into the room. "What?" He asked, "No greeting for an old friend? Now that hurts my feelings." He said in mock sadness, then looked at Bella, "He is your surprise. I'll explain later my dear. Where he can't interfere." And in full view of Edward, just because he was there, he stood up, leaned over and kissed the human gently on the brow. "Stay here figietta divin." he said, he'd finally told her it mean 'little daughter divine.'

He smiled at Edward, as he approached, "Ah Edward, I see you've come for a visit. How are you liking my city? I must speak with you and catch up." His smile turned mocking and savage as he fell silent, allowing his thoughts to spread into Edward's mind. 'The Bella you know is gone. Never to surface again. That girl there, is Isabella. My daughter.' He allowed those words to sink into the boy's brain and he smirked, continuing his thoughts. 'Listen well boy. Attempt to say anything I don't like to my little girl and things will go very badly. For her.' and he idly allowed thoughts of torture and pain to sift into his mind and toward Edward's.

Clapping his hands together once, he turned to Bella, "I'm sorry Isabella, you see....the boy here is a mind reader. I was merely catching up with him." and he headed back toward Bella, sitting down in his throne again. "You remember what I told you about that scar on your hand?" He asked, having created a fantastic web of lies about how Edward had been the one to nearly kill Bella, nearly turned into a vampire, had broken her heart and had caused her to run away, which had lead to her injury, which was why she couldn't remember things at first. "That's him." He said, flicking his head toward Edward.

Smiling at Bella's reaction, he looked toward Edward, "We'll have a nice long chat later on. But for now I want to introduce you properly, even though you do already know one another." He chuckled again, sweeping a hand in Edward's direction, "Isabella, this is Edward. He's the son of a old family friend. Edward, his is Isabella Volturi. My daughter." And he smiled over at Edward, sending another cruel thoughts his way. 'Welcome to the big leagues little boy., a rather twisted smile on his face.
