Roy had been up early that morning. But then again, as he thought about it, he was up early every morning. The colonel couldn't remember the last time he had actually had a full night of sleep. After all, it just seemed that lately it had been one thing after the other. Between military take overs and so much damn paperwork. Roy couldn't help but feel a little agitated lately. To be completely honest with himself, he was still getting over the fact that his best friend wasn't alive anymore, the person that had promised to be with him forever, was DEAD.
Roy cringed slightly at such thoughts and tried to shake his head to get such things out as quick as he could. His dark hues blinked and he finally focused once more on his surroundings. Same old normal, boring things, he guessed. Same old walls, and desk and huge stack of papers he would rather burn. Oh, so much fun that would be. He knew he couldn't ever do such a thing though. It would probably just cause more paperwork and replacements of the ones burnt. There was no way out of that one, and that made Roy so mad.
He let out a sigh as he leaned his head on his crossed hands in front of him. He knew he couldn't just sit there and do nothing. If he did, he would start thinking about Hughes again, and he simple could not let such things happen. So he took a deep breath and moved silently from his desk only making a little bit of sound from his chair as it scooted back against the floor. The man was careful not to knock the papers over from off of his desk. He knew from experience how painful that could be. He hated that with a burning passion.
He let out a sigh before leaving his office. He left the door open a crack before he glanced up and down both sides of the hallway. He decided to go right. He wasn't going anywhere in particular, and just really needed to move. He had walked for a while before he saw another military officer, a State alchemist he assumed by her outfit. Probably of lower rank, he guessed. Only then did he see her run into another officer. Papers flew everywhere and instantly roy felt himself moving.
He wasn't really thinking about it and knew he just needed to move. His gloved hands quickly caught the papers that had gone toward the window just barely getting all of them. That would of been a pain in the ass, which he knew very well. Missing paperwork was never a good thing. He glanced back at the female again. He wondered if she had even seen him. He waited until she had finished gathering the papers from the ground before approaching her again.
"Miss?" he said softly. He held out her papers to her watching her calmly.
