GENERAL DESCRIPTION|| Camille has always been small and delicate-figured, with thin arms and a slim hourglass build. Her skin is a soft pearly color and light brown freckles fleck her shoulders and cheekbones, becoming darker and more numerous in the summer instead of tanning. Her face is oval and her features are rather homely, with almond-shaped eyes and a slightly prominent brow. Dark brunette ringlets frame her face and fall just past her upper back, contrasting her soft grey-green eyes. Her lips are always carnation-pink, even though she never bothers with any kind of make-up, and her lower lip is a bit fuller than average, giving a pouty impression. She can usually be found wearing her work uniform, the average black and white house-maid dress, but on her own time she prefers sundresses and light, comfortable clothes.

GENERAL PERSONALITY|| Camille is very curious, and although not adventurous in the risk-taking sense, something draws her to wander and explore. She is usually quiet and shy, not bothering to go out of her way to meet new people. She can hold a decent conversation with people she feels at ease around, but tends to speak to strangers with awkward, choppy, sentences. Her innocence often leads people to assume her naïve, but she is actually quite intelligent and knows a lot about how people function, coming from her hobby of people-watching and eavesdropping on interesting conversations. She seems distant at times, and often drifts into deep thought and daydreams. Her actions tend to be even more cautious and reserved around strangers, in fear of making a bad impression.
Through being faced with talking to new people almost every day, she’s gotten over most of her nervousness, but it still surfaces occasionally. Another personality flaw is her perpetual indecisiveness. She always needs plenty of time to think before making a decision, no matter how small, just in case she may come to regret it later. Those things aside, Camille has always prided herself on being very accepting of all different people and ideas, and very open minded. She loves learning new things, and looking at the world though other perspectives. She is usually very forgiving, and feels sympathy for just about anyone, especially those less fortunate than herself.

HISTORY|| Ásbjorn Riess moved to Amestris from Drachma during a time of relative peace, wanting to get a new start after his parents died, leaving him virtually alone. He soon found work making weapons for the military, and was able to settle down and start a family. He married Heather Sinclaire, who came from a family of doctors and nurses who made their living working in mining towns. When Camille was born the family was relatively well off, Heather having opened up a flower shop and Ásbjorn still working in the weapons shop. They lived in a pretty rural area in Southern Amestris where Camille spent most of her childhood exploring the forests and playing around her mother's flower shop. When she was around five her younger sister Rosemary was born, and things began to go downhill.

Tensions with Drachma were growing, and Ásbjorn was taken into custody of the Amestrian military over their paranoia of Drachman spies. This initially left the family devastated- and with much less income- so Heather moved her family to Central, where business would hopefully be better. Camille took her duties of older sister seriously, always watching over Rosemary like a mother bird. They grew up to have a closer bond than most siblings, despite their age difference. However, Central was never that appealing to Camille, so she spent a lot of time staying with family in the north and east. She especially loved the winters up north, staying with her grandmother and getting to play in the snow.

When she was around twelve, her grandmother up north sadly passed away of old age, and Camille resigned herself to working in her mother's shop in Central during the summers- along with being homeschooled and hanging out in the library, and spending winters in Youswell instead, with her uncle. It definitely wasn't her favorite place. She hated hot weather, and was intimidated by just about everyone at first, but it eventually became her home away from home. Not too much has changed since then. She's finished up her schooling and spends most of her time traveling back and forth between Central where she runs errands and usually finds temp work in small tea shops or bakeries, and Youswell where she maintains her uncle's inn, and various other houses. She hopes to eventually save enough money to buy her own place somewhere up north, settle down, or maybe do some traveling.

ANYTHING ELSE|| Its been awhile since I've last roleplayed, I've been doing it on and off for about four years now, but I might be a little rusty. I've recently decided I needed to start writing again, so here I am. (And because FMA is cool.) Also, if you browse through my deviantArt please excuse all the bad art, asdf I'm such a n00b. ;o;

RP SAMPLE||

It was a rare occasion that she had a day off, and Magdalena was determined to make the best of it. She had her hair down- a welcome change from keeping it in a bun- the wavy ginger strands reaching her mid-back. She was wearing her new yellow dress, with sleeves that came down to her elbows and embroidered with white lace around the neck. The vibrant color reminded her of summer, her favorite time of year. She made her way down the cobbled street, and made sure to give a polite smile and wave to the people she knew as they passed on their daily routine. It was odd for her, not making her way to the hospital first thing in the morning. A new girl, only about seventeen, would be taking over her shift today- under careful supervision of the older nurses of course.

She stepped carefully, trying not to trip while walking in her new shoes- also yellow, and bought to compliment the dress. Her eyes scanned the shops as she passed them, looking for a place to eat breakfast. It wasn't often that she came downtown, but she was unconsciously avoiding the place she once called home. She stopped when she came to a small cafe that looked like it was serving coffee and tea, along with some small biscuits. Maybe later she would go shopping, or perhaps take a walk through the park. She pushed open the door gently, and scanned the interior for an open place to sit. There was an empty chair at a table near the center, but the other three were taken up by women who scowled at her as she walked in. Maybe they disliked her for being wealthy, since they seemed pretty commonplace. Or maybe they disagreed with her parent's political views, she had meet people like that before. So instead she took a seat at a table located near a window. There was already a man sitting there, so she acknowledged him with a quiet "Good morning sir." and a slight smile. She still didn't feel completely comfortable around men, but he shared no resemblance to him. His attentions seemed elsewhere as well, so her thoughts drifted away from her past and back to what she wanted to order. As a waiter approached the table she asked for some green tea, and a piece of coffee cake.

Otherwise, I really like your character concept here. I think she'll really fit in with the current cast we have for Central, so she has a lot of interaction potential. I'd love to see the relationships with our Drachman spies!! I also really liked that you used your own art for the face. Very unique! Anyways, she looks lovely.
