ABILITIES/TECHNIQUES|| Jack’s unique style of combat alchemy combines both alchemical and alkhestrical practices; and uses dozens of transmutation/purification circles and glyphs are tattooed over his arms, hands, legs, and chest. These circles allow him to alter the nature of energy around him, turning kinetic energy into thermal or alchemical energy, and vice versa. Through this, he can make physical attacks against him useless, as he can transmute the kinetic energy of an opponent’s blows into alchemical energy, which he can then use to again, amplify the amount of kinetic force he exerts, causing a perpetual increase of kinetic energy he can use to create a massive explosion, which he can transmute in a way where all the energy of the explosion goes away from him, leaving him unharmed. He can also do this with his own strikes, forming a special style of kung-fu called the “Raging Dragon Style”.
He also uses his unique alchemy to give himself superhuman strength, speed, and endurance by creating more testosterone, adrenaline, and other natural steroids in his body, while using alkhestry’s healing techniques to reduce production of lactic acids and heal torn muscles and other wounds which come from over exertion. He can also increase his mental capacity and speed by increasing the rate the synapses in his brain fire.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION|| Jack is moderately well built with a fair, yet slightly tanned complexion. His hair is long, thick, and curly, coming down slightly passed his shoulders, with bangs framing his face. He has very rugged features, and looks slightly rough, especially his deep, dark blue eyes.
Apparel wise, he wears a sleeveless, black turtleneck sweater and tight fitting blue jeans with simple black leather shoes. For accessories, he has a simple silver belt.

GENERAL PERSONALITY|| Jack is like many youths his age, adventurous and brash. He is very confident in his abilities as a fighter and alchemist, and isn’t afraid to show it. He also can’t stand when people pick on those weaker than them, yet isn’t pleased with people who are being content with being weak. When he sets his mind to helping someone, he will go to extreme measures to make sure he succeeds, regardless of what happens to him afterward.
Despite his good hearted nature, his isolated life, along with past trauma, has left it difficult for him to form relationships with people. He is also slightly shy, and will often stammer when to nervous, much to his dismay. He is childish in many ways, with his love of sweets, constant attempts at looking cool, and his shyness around the opposite sex.

HISTORY|| Jack was the son of the childhood friends Bryce Magnum, a Amestrian soldier, and Felicia Price, a school teacher. The young couple was due to be wed, but due to Bryce’s schedule, never had the time to get married before Felicia gave birth to the twins, Jack and Alice. Unfortunately, Felicia always had had a weak constitution, and passed away shortly after giving birth to Jack. Bryce, upon returning, was heartbroken to find out that his fiancé had passed away, but was deeply grateful that his children survived, and strived to give them the best life he could.
However, Jack and Alice both inherited their mother’s constitution, and spent the first several years of their lives in various hospitals. It wasn’t until they reached the age of six that Bryce found a Xingese alchemist who was renowned for his healing abilities. He contacted the man, Xing-Lao, who upon hearing Bryce’s tale, decided to perform as a live in physician for the twins at a reasonable fee until they were healthy. It took a full year before Xing-Lao’s techniques cured the children of their ailments, making them as healthy as normal children their age. While both children were eternally grateful to their healer, only Jack was enthralled by the techniques he used to heal them.
While Alice went on to live a normal life for a girl her age, Jack convinced Xing-Lao to stay as his alchemy tutor, and began his journey down the reclusive path of studying alchemy. Jack spent years studying both alchemy and alkhestry, learning to augment his own body so that he would never be weak again, causing him to increase in strength rapidly. It was at this point, that Xing-Lao decided to halt his training, disapproving of what he used it for, and decided it was time for him to take his leave. It was also around that time, that the then thirteen year old Jack and Alice learned that their father had died in battle. Luckily for them, a friend of Alice’s had a wealthy family that took them in. Jack never faltered in his studies however, despite their new lifestyle.
It was the Promised Day however, that truly shook Jack’s life. While he recovered from it fairly quickly, his sister, the one constant person in his life, who never left him, never recovered from the sheer mental torment of the experience. Over the next few months, Alice continued to degrade in health until she finally died. It was then that he decided to leave his home, not sure what to do with his life, but he knew that he would help change it.
