( olivier mira armstrong )
the real story

( please state your name and who you're here with )
I am Olivier Armstrong, eldest daughter in the Armstrong family and - apparently - the smartest of them. At least my head isn't full of air like that little pipsqueak, Catherine. Obviously I'm not a coward like the brawny idiotic brother of mine either. Here? I'm not here with anyone!
Now go flush yourselves down the toilet before I impale you! ...Yes. That was a real threat.
[/ul]
( so how old are you and when's your birthday? )
Anyway, I'm thirty nine. Get out of my sight before your idiotic bravery rubs off on me. No, I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of knowing what date my birthday is. Deal with it.
(ooc: not sure exactly her birthday or her birthdate, so just guessing).
[/ul]
( where were you born and where do you live now? )
[/ul]
( what about your family, do you have any? )
Mrs. Armstrong, my mother, is just as annoying if not more so than my father.
Amue Armstrong is the second oldest of my siblings in the family. She's big and brawny but not very smart in my opinion.
Strongine Armstrong is the third oldest. Same deal and not enough cleverness on her part.
Alex Armstrong is my younger brother. Stupid oaf, but I suppose one cannot help what they are born as. If you want my opinion my parents should have thrown him out into the streets the moment they saw his pudgy little face.
Catherine Armstrong is the smallest of all of us, even though she has a lot of the brute strength my brother possesses. To me she is an airheaded little bugger who will never amount to anything besides settling down with a husband without any brains - characteristics much like my brother, I admit.

( any other important people in your life? )
Miles is my assistant, though I suppose I could also call him a friend. I value his opinion - which is more than I can say for most people - and actually do trust him somewhat.
Buccaneer is... was my best soldier before he died. That man was loyal as anything and I trusted him as much as I did Miles. Too bad he had to go an die on me before I could even give him a last salute.
Roy Mustang and his little babysitter? Constant annoyance to me, though I suppose he isn't a bad leader. Besides, I respect both his and Riza Hawkeye's abilities.
The Elric Brothers came to Briggs and I instantly disliked them. However I did back them up since their ideas and goals were worthy of it. Looks as though I made the right decision. As always.
Izumi and her husband would also be considered two people who are and may be important to me in the future. I admire both Izumi and Sieg for their courage and skills. Plus, I will forever be in their debt for their help before and during the Promised Day.

( now on to the stuff about you. what do you look like? )
( any special talents or crazy abilities we should know about? )
I have been trained on how to shoot accurately and have had a lot of practice in my time. All I need is a target. Would you like to volunteer?
Hand to hand combat is also my specialty. I know exactly how to take on a full grown man - even one stronger than my brother Alex - and beat him with little effort. If you really think you can take me on, then feel free to try.

( what do you love? )
3. Beating up my brother.
4. Beating up anyone.
5. Winning.
[/ul]
( what do you despise? )
[/ul]
( what are some of your goals? )
[/ul]
( tell us a bit about your personality? )
My compassion is limited. I care if people die - unless I hate them, which happens quite often with people who get in my way - but I know that it is the way things go in the military. I've gotten used to it over the years, I suppose you could say. 'Death' happens to all of us, some people sooner rather than later. Only the strong survive in a world like this and I don't pity those who die on duty or in action. An honorable death is nothing to scoff at.
I will stick by my soldiers in any situation. Honor cannot be gained when you run out of a fight like a coward. I'm not a coward I'm a fighter, and I am a survivor. Isn't that all we can ask for in this world? To be alive? Anyway, I'm not interested in becoming a traitor against my country. I suppose 'technically' I have been one when I shot some soldiers at Central, but I swear they were getting on my nerves and I do not tolerate it when people threaten me. My good side can sometimes be described as my bad side also. You never know which, really, so I suggest you be very wary when around me. I am not one to be trifled with and that is final.
I take pride in my ability to be a good tactical leader and a woman who does care what happens to those under her command. Soldiers on the same side of me are just as much family to me as any of the Armstrong's (and some of them I even like a whole lot better than my biological parents and siblings).

( tell us a bit about your history now )
I'm going to just go ahead and skip through a few years here so you don't need to listen to the boring tale of my teen years. All you need to know is that my parents would sometimes go on vacation without me just to get away from my interchangable moods. Its actually rather insulting now that I think about it. Very well then, we will move on.
My brother Alex has always seemed to be my rival. We fight and yet - even with his brute strength - he never seems to win. What a pathetic son my parents raised. Besides Catherine I would say he's the most idiotic person in our whole family. I would rather have kept my two other younger sisters and thrown him out someplace chilly and dismal. Maybe he'd learn a little respect for me then. In fact, I would say he should come to Briggs once in a while. We always seem to have the best trained soldiers there anyway.
When I became old enough I immediately joined the Amestrian military and worked my way up to the top. I was a Major General in what felt like no time at all. The world was going just as I wanted it. I was heartless to some, merciless to others, and harsh to most. But I was loyal and am loyal to the Amestrian army. Soon I was stationed at Fort Briggs as the commanding officer, where I trained the soldiers there to be as cold as ice and to fight for their survival because it sure wasn't going to get handed to them on a platter. One could say I cared about them in this way. I taught them how to live. I taught them to be on alert at all times because people will always be around to stab you in the back. Always.
I won't go into much detail about what happened before the Promised day. What I will say is that Edward Elric and his brother showed up. I immediately put them to work, then slowly began to believe their otherwise absurd stories. Shoot me, but I did. So, anyways, as the days progressed we devised plan after plan, defeating nuisances like homunculi and etcetera. It was bothersome business but at least I got it done. We got it done, though I'm unhappy to admit to their help in it. The Elrics left somewhere along the way - in fact we all did - to get to Central. Defense after defense and yet the evil just seemed to keep coming. Finally, after getting news of Buccaneers death, we moved on down the stairwell into the ground (my brother, soldiers, and I had followed Izumi and her husband down there so they could clear a path of escape).
After the heated battle between 'Father' and Edward Elric, and after he finally got his brother back... I left. Yes, I left. For a while until I heard Scar was getting healed. Then after working things out with him (and hopefully completely annoying Mustang! Aha!) I went back to Briggs to give Buccaneer a proper burial in the place he served at most.
That, and Central, is where I have come and gone.
