GENERAL DESCRIPTION||

Historically, Pride's human appearance has never gone any further in age than that of a ten year old child, in the past at least. Every since he reverted back into a baby, Selim's body has been growing... and at a rate a bit faster than that of a normal human child. His body seems eager to return to the size of a ten year old that it had remained at for more than three hundred years. As of now, the boy is two years old but has grown to the average height of a four year old. He has a thin build with a light complexion and a rounded face. Selim's black hair is relatively short, it has thus far grown just enough that his bangs partially cover the mark on his forehead. For a child young as he is, oddly his clothing often appears rather formal, rich child style clothing that he manages to keep neat and clean.

GENERAL PERSONALITY||

First and foremost, Selim is a happy and playful kid. He enjoys playing games and running around just as much as the next child, although he is more reluctant to get down and dirty in the mud than the typical boy might be. His mother tries to teach him good manners, she says that she is teaching him the way a gentleman should always behave. Due to this, he knows by now how he is expected to behave toward his elders, and why being kind to others is the right thing to do.

However, Selim can also be defiant and daring when he chooses to be, blatantly going against what he has been told to do for various reasons. Sometimes, he'll try to avoid his mother when it's time for her to bring him to a checkup simply because he doesn't like going to the doctor so much. Or, if there's something that Selim insists he is right about, he will stubbornly do all that he can to prove the other person is wrong... he can be pretty arrogant about it too once he has proven as much.

HISTORY||

Pride was the first homunculus created by Father over three hundred years ago. Although he was created in the likeness of Father's original, black shadowy form, he has always throughout the years taken on the guise of a child. Pride would always 'play house' with government officials and their families, taken in time and time again as an 'adopted' son in order to bring himself into a place of power where he could influence what was going on from the background. He was an extremely powerful homunculus, with the power to control the shadows.

The most recent family that Pride had become a part of was that of Fuhrer Bradley's, the homunculus Wrath himself. Mrs. Bradley acted as a mother to the boy who she believed was her adopted son. Pride took on the name of Selim Bradley, and although he cared little for humans, the woman managed to find a way to actually make him care about her. He had never had a mother before, and her willingness to risk her own life to save her "son's" truly surprised him.

Selim played the innocent child rather well, all the while helping to act out Father's plans with the other homunculi. It's ironic that while all the other homunculi were eventually killed, it was Pride who was the only one to get a second chance at life. The worst and most unforgivable sin, pride, the origin of all other sins. Yet when Pride was defeated, he reverted into a fetus-like state and instead of destroying him, Edward Elric brought his body back to Mrs. Bradley.

The woman decided to raise him as her own once again, knowing full well that Selim was no ordinary human. Apparently, he has no recollection of any events that happened prior to the past two years. There haven't yet been any signs of the Pride he once was re-manifesting itself, but that doesn't stop those in the military who know who he used to be from worrying that it might and thus keeping the boy under constant watch. Selim is now two years old but that is only in the sense that he was reborn those two years ago. In appearance, the boy seems more like a four or five year old, while mentally he has already reached the maturity level of a six year old.

Rumor had it that Capsule Corporation was the home of some sort of new high tech training facilities that were open for only the greatest most amazing of fighters to train in. Being that Hiro was Hiro and he considered himself greatly above average, someday maybe even as strong as the awesome Hercule himself, well, having that much faith in himself just meant that he believed he had what it took to train in such a place.

The boy just... wanted to check it out. He figured, what the heck, it was past sunset, dark enough for him to sneak in without anyone noticing! Maybe even do some training while he was in there, try it a little bit, he didn’t really want to pay the cheapskates who ran the place. Plus, stealthily getting into the chamber was a fun challenge that he wanted to take.

”Heh heh,” Hiro quietly giggled, pushing open the door to the gravity chamber. Now, two things here, number one being that he hadn’t the slightest clue that the room was already occupied, which led to the second being that he had not realized the gravity would be doubled on him the moment he set foot in the room!

”Oh no!” the small boy fell face first onto the floor, his body immediately followed, leaving him sprawled out flat on his stomach. ”N—no way... what… the…” he was practically choking on his own words. He couldn’t move, the sudden change in gravity left him feeling as though a full grown adult was sitting on top of him so that he could not move.

"Hnnnah!" Hiro strained against the gravity, against the weight of his own body, against everything! It was all no good, he couldn't even manage to get his hands in the right position to push himself off the ground, let alone get himself to budge an inch...

Using all the strength that he had, the boy managed to drag his chin along the floor far enough that with a little bit of effort in straining his eyes, he was able to catch a glimpse of the person staring down at him. "Darn it," he muttered in reference to both his situation on the floor and the fact that someone else was in the room with him.

This didn't even make any sense... How was it that he, a hero-in-training, could not withstand the heightened gravity within this chamber... yet... some dumb older kid could manage it? Hiro stared up at the teenager with contempt, his head gradually tilting upward more and more so he might see him better.

Hiro wouldn't allow himself to go defeated like this, managing to finally get his arms and hands to budge, he shifted them beneath his chest. The effort that it cost him was enormous, just to get onto his knees. And that was as far as he could go before taking a break to pant and catch his breath and, surprisingly, grin at the teenager. "Hahaha! I can't be defeated so easily, joke's on you!"

It looks excellent and I saw no problems to mention. I think you captured his 'newer' side well, seeing as we only saw positive traits at the end. The negative traits you gave him applied well. His history and such was also nicely thought out and they flow very well. I'm looking forward to reading his threads!
