This is actually from the last portion of my roleplay sample for my original application.
This is going to be a critical part of Aaron's story. Who is at the door? An assassin? The landlord? His brother? It could be anybody. Seeing as I want this character to eventually be put into the military, maybe it could be them coming to shut down the Underground and offer him an incentive to either join or be arrested. But who from the military? Hawkeye? Catalina? A State Alchemist? There are a lot of possibilities stemming from this alone.
I am of course open to suggestions for this and future roleplays as well (we can do future ones first, but what happened that night would have to be assumed seeing as whether he's in the military or not is obviously a big deal, how it happens less so.)
Anyways.
FRIENDS: Aaron doesn't have many. He's lived in Central for four years and all he's done is fight, drink, and play music. He's a friendly person, but he just hasn't met anyone yet. If someone can get past his brash sense of humor and his mouth, he's actually a really nice guy.
ENEMIES: Aaron currently has no real enemies. It's hard to really piss him off, but if you do, watch out. He's more prone to friendly rivalry than anything, but in combat, everyone not on your side is an enemy. Also, don't mention the Shadovenske family unless you're either praising his mother's decorating or you travel all the way up north just for some of his father's deli meats.
ROMANCE: Aaron gets drunk and gets with women. That's about it. He could be prone to fall in love, but it wouldn't be an easy chick like he's used to. She'd have to put up a decent fight while at the same time returning the interest.
Aaron lay in his bed in his apartment, an expensive imported bottle of a clear, strong Drachman liquor clutched in his hand. The bottle was half empty and Aaron was more than half way drunk. The apartment was classy and well furnished, a stand up piano sitting in his living room with a fine hand crafted cello leaning against it. Aaron lay shirtless and shoe-less on his bed, his right side lightly bruised from his landing. His pale skin almost seemed to glow in the moonlight that shone though his window, touching his lithe, hairless body. It was almost two-o-clock in the morning when Aaron heard a loud, demanding knock at the door. Getting up and throwing his bomber jacket on in place of a shirt, he made his way to the door.
"Now who the hell could this be?.."
To be continued...
