[/b], she ran the orphanage our father grew up in. She would love to see my brother and I, even after our parents deaths. As my brother got older her stopped wanting to go visit her, but I kept pulling him along. I liked Abel.. She was like a grandmother to us. T-There was also Ollie Butch and his wife Silva Butch, they took us in after our parents died. They were always so nice to use, I-I still live with them in Central. T-They have twins named Jenni and Tommi now. T-They're like my younger brother and sister. [/SIZE]

[/b]... I get kind of carried away when I talk about it. When I was a kid, state alchemists would always come through my town.. E-Erm they were mostly there to scare the Cretans, but s-sometimes they would show us tricks. One even gave me this c-cool book on Alchemy. I think he meant to g-give it to my brother, b-but I got it instead! Brother was never too interested in Alchemy... But I loved him anyway! Other things I love? Well, I really like baking sweets and cooking! It's just like they said, Alchemy began in the kitchen! I was baking before I was even learning about Alchemy. I like nice guys too... I don't know about love.. Well e-erm maybe... Flowers can't be beat either.. I-I always just loved w-when the flower fields in Pendleton would f-finally bloom during spring.[/SIZE]

I-I've never been more frightened in my life. I w-wanted to say something to them, to help them.. b-but what could I do? Erm, what else... Liars.. Yeah, liars are horrible. M-my brother lied to me once.. it didn't turn out well. I don't enjoy crossing rivers either.. It must sound, erm odd. I'm a water alchemist, but I-I dislike crossing rivers... • What? Y-You think I'm nervous?! Erm.. maybe. I.. I guess it's just because I don't t-talk to others much. I stutter a lot too... A couple of years ago, erm I didn't stutter. I..I guess l..l..loosing my brother had a bigger effect on me than I though.
  
• Erm, I guess you could say I'm smart. S-Sure I'm always studying, but e-erm I have too much left to learn.. Please d-don't call me smart yet.
  
• S-Some people keep saying I should try the State Alchemist Exam right now.. but I don't think I'm ready. They insist I'm t-talented enough to pass it, but, erm, I'm no Edward Elric...
  
• I'm not strong not at all. What? Some people outside were saying I was!? W-Why would they do that!? I mean.. I-I guess I'm a little strong.. Erm, I can't l-lift a table, b-but um, I'm n-not depressed or anything.. I don't think so at least.

• I was born on Midnight on December 31st, making my birthday January 1st, I think. I-It's pretty confusing actually. Any way.. m-my father was a Cretan and my mother was an Amestrian. I had an older brother, he was four years older than me.
  
• When I was two I met Abel Oman for the first time! She was e-erm really nice! Since Pendleton was on the border and the c-countries had no r-real natural boundaries, I g-got to visit her a lot. My brother and I would always love going to see her.
  
• ...I was three. T-There was an explosion by the border. M..My mother and father were g-going to take A-Abel some fruit. T-They were just trying to help her get better.. She h-had the flu... E-Excuse me for a minute...
  
• S-Sorry! I'm back! Erm, on my fourth birthday my brother g-got me an oven mitt. H-He said I should l-learn how to cook and become a chef so I-I could leave Pendleton when I-I got older. W-We were living w-with some nice neighbors who agreed to take us in after our parents died. T-The wife of the house h-happily agreed to t-teach me how to cook.
  
• I was five w-when I saw my first State Alchemist. We were pulled out of school with a bunch of other kids and taken to the Town Square. A-All the other kids had lost parents, siblings, and other relatives because of the border dispute. T-The Alchemists were there to help they told us.. B-But even though they were really nice.. I-I never noticed them doing anything. A-And them being there only served to get the Cretans even angrier. I-I couldn't even cross the border t-to see Abel for a couple of years because o-of how bad it got. O-One of them did g-give me this really cool Alchemy book though.. T-They even showed some of us how to do simple transmutations. It was.. amazing.
  
• When I was seven the state alchemists finally left. We could finally g-go cross to see Abel. It was weird though.. It was like m-my brother didn't want to go. When I-I finally got him to come with me, he announced t-to her we weren't g-going to use the name Omen anymore. H-He didn't speak to her after that.. He would come with me when I went to go visit Abel, but he would never speak to her.
  
• On my eight birthday my brother got me an advanced Alchemy book. We were l-living with the s-same neighbors, b-but the w-wife didn't like that I-I was interested in Alchemy. S-She had lost a daughter in the same e-explosion that took our parents.. I-I think she wanted me to replace her.
  
• I was t-ten when we finally had to leave our neighbor's house. T-The wife, Silva, couldn't take it anymore.. t-the alchemy. It turns out h-her daughter had been a tom boy who w-wanted to be an alchemist. S-She was trying to f-forget her d-daughter by raising me. I-I felt bad.. a-after that I-I kept going to her house to help her cook. After a couple of weeks she asked us to move b-back in. My brother said he wouldn't move back in, b-but I wanted too... I couldn't l-leave my brother alone though. I-I said no, b-but I kept going to her house everyday. S-Sometimes I slept over when it was raining.
  
• Finally, everything started t-to get better. I was e-eleven and my brother f-finally agreed to move back in with Silva and Ollie. H-He was even s-starting to get over w-what happened to our parents. H-He even began speaking to Abel again. W-We were like one big family, a h-happy one too! S-Silva was even pregnant with another child! I-It was like I was going to be a big sister!
  
• When I-I was twelve Silva gave birth to twins! Ollie also got news that he was getting a promotion and that they were moving to Central. My brother and I were worried that they'd leave us behind, b-but Silva and Ollie told us not to be silly.. T-That we were they're children. I-I've never felt so happy before in my life.
  
• I-It was the week before... before we were suppose to move. M-My brother had heard about the eclipse. H-He told me about it a-and I said w-we should watch it with Abel.. S-Since we wouldn't be seeing her anymore. He thought it was a great idea.. S-so we made a picnic and headed across the border. T-There had been an explosion at the m-main crossing, so we w-went a little south to where a river with a small bridge let people cross. N-No one else was out there that day, they were all at home watching the eclipse, it w-wasn't like they could cross to Cretan to do their business. I-In fact.. w-with the main crossing cut off, people were trapped in Amestris that day unless they knew about the bridge, w-which was a small little one made by kids.. S-So maybe it wasn't just a r-random bombing... W-Walking all the way to the bridge made us a bit late.. My brother told me we probably weren't going to get to watch the eclipse with Abel, b-but we should still eat with her. S-So we crossed the bridge. I was in the middle of it when the eclipse started. Then... everything bad happened. I was at the other end of the bridge, and my brother was still on the other side. I waved my hands to him, and he raised his to wave back.. but he never waved. His body fell from the small bridge into the water below. I screamed, running back onto the bridge.. T-Then I felt it too. I-It was like someone was tightening their hold on my neck. I passed out, my body on the bridge, my arms and legs hanging off the tiny planks that made up the bridge. I woke up t-the the sounds of the river. I sat up, looking around, then, the horror set in. My brother... was no where to be seen. All I could do was scream.. I just kept screaming, hoping my brother would jump out.. That it had been a joke. After the screaming, I sat there, crying. Ollie found me an hour or so later.
  
• ...We moved to Central... I-I helped Silva with the children and continued my alchemy studies...

Mount Silver, a beautiful towering land mark that rises between Kanto and Johto. It's height is unmatched in both regions, and it's legends are just as revered! One such legend is of the Pokemon Champion that trains atop of the mountain's peak, the legend of Red! Of course, most know it's not just some legend to help your child dream at night. Red is indeed real, and the short figure climbing the mountain just so happened to be a friend of his.

Yellow sighed softly as she leaned against a large boulder on the side of the mountain. Wiping sweat from her forehead, she looked up. She loved seeing Red, but the climb was always so long! Still, the climb was worth it, especially when Pika and Chuchu saw each other again! Besides, she had to talk to Red about something that was bothering her. Adjusting her hat, she turned around and continued up the mountain.

As she continued her climb, one of the Pokeballs she carried on her sash shook softly. Yellow smiled softly as she released Chuchu from her pokeball. "We're getting lose to where Red trains, I'm sure you can't wait to see Pika again huh?" she asked the yellow Pokemon. "Pika! Chu chu chu chu!" replied the female Pikachu. Yellow nodded, "I know, I feel the same way too!" she giggled as she pet the Pikachu's head. After the mouse Pokemon made itself comfortable on her shoulder, the two continued on their way up the mountain.

Once they reached their destination, Yellow cupped her hands over her mouth. "Red? Are you here?"[/SIZE]

Very interesting! I really enjoy water alchemy, and the twist you added to it was quite enjoyable (with the flash bombs, very unique). Her personality really showed in her words, which I thought was very fun to read. And she's part Cretan! You're the first to draw off of that aspect, so I'm excited to see how else that effects her communications, particularly with the military. I think she's a delightful character! I really look forward to watching her develop and seeing if she does become a state alchemist! Welcome to the site and happy plotting! ^_^
