Today was supposed to be the day Klara went out to get the parts and raw material she needed. She was still in the process of redesigning her models to be compatible with the Amestrian parts that were available to her, but this meant that a lot of these parts were necessary for her to test each parts' tensile strength, elastic limit, fatigue ratio... pretty much every specifications of the Amerstrian parts were different than the Drachman ones she was used to.
But despite the importance of such work, Klara was not leaving her workshop. Oh no, absolutely not.
Her Triglava indicated that there was a person standing outside her workshops' wooden doors.
The person was too tall to be the only Amestrian in the entire country she can call her friend. But other than that, the Triglava did not show anything else about the mysterious stranger.
The workshop wasn't closed, but there weren't glaringly obvious sign that it was open either. Klara had no idea who was standing in front of the door. Could one of those mean vendors have tracked her down? Or was it one of those Amestrian interrogators, looking to ask pointed questions implying that she was a spy?
Either way, Klara had to deal with this person, and with a deep sigh, she opened the door and saw a complete stranger.
"C-can I help you?" Klara said, attempting to sound confident but failing miserably.

Brigadier General Remis De'Vir stood quietly at the front of Klara Krasnyeva's workshop. The red-haired swordsman generally didn't stand in front of randomly semi-deserted buildings, but today he had to make an exception. For today, Remis De'Vir was not who he said he was- today, he was Morris. Though Remis had no need for a Drachman Automail Mechanic, Morris had a poor friend who had lost his arm during a terrible work accident. To make it worse, it was all Morris' fault! Morris was in such dire need of a mechanic that he would do just about anything to get his friend an arm. In a way, Remis enjoyed taking on the life of another person. Though this may all have been part of an act to gain intelligence, the General did take some form of pleasure from roleplaying every now and then. Maybe that was why he always volunteered for these operations... Whatever the reason, he was here.
"C-can I help you?"
Remis fell down to his knees in a pleading position. He laid his palms on one another with his fingers pointing up- praying. "Oh ma'am! Please help me! You're an automail mechanic, right?!" [/color] The thirty-six-year-old man was faking emotional distress rather well. Had the military worked out, Remis was sure he could have taken a career in acting. "I can't pay you in money, but I'll do anything if you'll help my friend out!" [/blockquote]

Klara immediately jumped back as soon as the man in front of her fell down on his knees. She was panicking at the unexpected situation, but a small part of her was thinking That had to hurt. Then, she was at a loss, wondering what she should do as the clearly fully grown man was practically weeping. She had never seen a grown man weep before. Well, unless they were getting fitted into their automails for the first time...
"Please, calm down!" Klara exclaimed as she kneeled down with him. "Is it an emergency? I cannot treat a patient if they are badly hurt. We need to take them to a hospital first." She grasped the poor man's hand with hers. "Please tell me what had happened. It will be okay." Klara wondered if it was ethical of her to tell him that when she didn't even know what the situation was, but decided that it was okay. The man's sheer panic was making her remember... that day. Despite the horrible pain, she still remembered wishing that someone, anyone would just hold her hand and tell her that everything was going to be okay. But my hands were burned too, so I guess I shouldn't blame them...
