Okay, with the disappearance of Remis, we've lost most of the fuel for the Drachman plot. I would like to know if you would all still be interested in doing that plot! I have something written, I was just waiting on his response... So, we can definitely get that moving if there is still interest.
The other potential side-plot I was considering was something Izumi mentioned (her thread is in this same board if you'd like to go look). What would you think of potentially a Festival with various activities hosted in Central? I was thinking of it being hosted by the Military to increase faith/trust in the new ideas. I'd want input on what activities we'd like to do and EVERY idea you'd like to throw in.
For the record, I'm also considering creating NPC account(s). I'm undecided as to whether or not it'd be strictly admin or members also, but these would be to help the plots move along. They'd be for lesser canons or potential site-specific canons only (so no RPing as Roy). For instance, this would be useful in a confrontation between a Drachman spy and the military. What do you guys think?

If it's still possible, I vote for the Drachman plot to start as was intended!
Also, I think a side-plot like a festival would be something that could easily boost activity since everyone would be involved, etc. |

I wasn't here when the Drachman side-plot first started, but I would be up for creating a character or two that would help in moving it along if you needed more people involved.
I also think the festival idea sounds great. I had something similar on the last site I was on and it really gives a chance for everyone to get together and meet at one time/place. Things like that could also possibly lead to other, smaller plots between characters and help move things along. Both sound good to me.

I think the Drachman plot would still be a great idea, and I'll volunteer to help with ideas or what not if you still need help with it with Remis gone and all.
And a festival would be loads of fun! I agree with Camille here, it would really help to get everyone's characters together and for everyone to meet and be acquainted better. It could definitely help in the plot department between people and their characters! And it just sounds like a lot of fun. :3
And as for the npc's, sounds like a good idea, because it'd be easier, I think. Maybe just one account labeled Military or something, or maybe it actually has a character name, I dunno, that can question people? It's a good idea to keep it as an admin thing, I think. I've seen it on another site before and it worked well as far as I could see.

I made characters especially for the Drachman plot so I'd love for it to continue as planned. I think the idea is great and will be fun to do!
FESTIVAL! :3 I would love it! I need to get some of my hoard of character's active and I would love to post with everyone. lol.

As for the festival, I'm definitely willing to work that into play. What activities would you all like to see? I do plan on still having Izumi's idea of the Bachelor/Bachelorette auction, but what else would you like to see done?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Maybe a set of minigames like relay racing or something for kids, and then... yeah. I'll keep trying to think of things though -feels useless- xD

Hmm. For the festival I could definitely see them holding a Central Talent Show or a civilian Battle Royal to showcase something non-military for once. The battle royal would of course involve pads, wooden swords, etc. The talent show is a talent show. Yeah. I think it'd be pretty cool.
As for the Drachman side plot, I think we should go Cold War style with it, personally. That's not to say there won't be battles, but MOST (not all) would probably be on a smaller scale between highly trained soldiers. This would give us a chance to introduce new aspects of the military. What if Amestris formed their version of the CIA because of this and the Drachmans have a KGB like agency? Stuff like this is really a great opportunity not only to evolve our storylines, but the overall shape of the FMA world. Better weapons, vehicles, aircrafts, etc. Hell, maybe an FMA version of a nuclear arms race. This plot could go a lot of ways.
