Our world begins after the defeat of Asura, after three brave weapons and meisters went up against the powerful Kishin, defeating him with their courage. Because of this brave act the world slowly returned to peace and normality. Weapons and meisters continued to protect the people of the world, and the people of the world kept on going about their lives. Grass grew and died as the world aged and changed. If one thing could be said it would be that the the world had shifted from a state panic and uncertainty to a normal state, or rather the normal the world had always known. Madness was thing that cannot be taken from the world, and despite this the world was at peace, or as peaceful as it could be, for a long while. It kept on like this, silent, until one day a shock reverberated through it. It was madness, a madness that was strong and new, but it was only felt by few select people: Lord death, the current Death scythes, and kishin eggs, and it was felt like a sting throughout the world. The ones that felt it scrambled, but to different ends. The academy to serve and protect, and the other side to create chaos, and again the world spilt.
Now, the world is in a state of almost military panic, except it doesn’t know it yet. The ones that know, that feel the madness rising, are keeping quite, hoping that neither side knows what is happening. It is a blind panic they have rushed into, mobilizing in secret and silence. Students go on about their lives, innocent and unaware of the trouble brewing around them. They meet their partners and they pick their friends, all the while the world is changing, breaking, darkening. As they go on with their lives, going on missions and spending those precious moments with friends, this new darkness is slowly seeping into their world, tainting their pure blue skies.
This source of chaos is unknown, and no point of origin can be found, making it even harder for either side to know exactly what they are dealing with, and each day it gets worse. A new Kishin is rising... will your soul be darkened, or will you fight?
